A nice bonus would also be if poison damage was converted to acid damage because poison damage is broadly resisted in Solasta, which makes Tiger Drakes pretty useless. I think an easy fix would be to add a mid-game magic item, like a weapon or amulet, that grants magical attacks to creatures summoned by the wielder. It makes sense that this option isn't available in Solasta because it would slow combat down, but as a consequence, summoning options in Solasta deal less damage. With summoning spells in the tabletop, you can summon 8 random low CR creatures. Because summoning spells require concentration, locking a Druid out of most of their other good spells, they should be effective, just like they are in the tabletop. I felt that summoning spells in Solasta were mostly disappointing. I think these changes would bring the Kindred Spirits Druid in line with the Land Druid and Wind Druid. This isn't a huge deal, but I would have loved to try out other options.

It would be nice if at level 4 or 5, you got the once-off option to switch your bonded spirit. Because the spirit can't equip magical items, its Extra Attack wouldn't be nearly as effective as an actual class like the Fighter, so it would be far from overpowered. It would still turn into a glass cannon as you level up, but its increased damage output would make it more worthwhile, and at level 10 you would no longer risk a punishing stun just because you weren't hiding your spirit on the other side of the map. I think a very simple fix would be to give the spirit Extra Attack at level 6, and at level 10 remove the 3d6 damage and stun on the Druid when the spirit dies. After level 6 it didn't feel worthwhile to risk using it in case it dies and you get stunned, and after level 9 it was a downright hindrance.

Because it can't equip magical weapons, its damage output virtually stays the same. Early on it was good, but because any extra health it gets is simply half of the Druid's health, it gets more and more squishy as you level up and enemies deal more damage. I felt that the Druid was easily the least effective class in combat, so I had some suggestions regarding both the Kindred Spirits subclass specifically, and summoning spells in general. I just finished the main campaign with a Kindred Spirits Druid, Path of the Stone Barbarian, Life Cleric and Hunter Ranger.
